Analysis of construction prices and preparation of cost benchmarks and reference values
Quantity take-offs and cost calculations
Continuous monitoring and control of project costs against approved budgets
Development and implementation of cost control systems and processes
Regular cost tracking, forecasting and variance analysis
Value engineering and optimization of cost-benefit ratios
Development of procurement strategies and tendering recommendations
Cost-focused risk analysis and management
Support in contract negotiations and claim management
Preparation of procurement concepts
Evaluation and comparison of bids
Management of orders and reconciliation against available budget
Close collaboration with project teams, clients and external partners
Preparation of meaningful cost reports and presentations for management
Strategic advising of clients on cost management

University degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Industrial Engineering
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in cost management of complex construction projects
Certifications (RICS, DVP) advantageous
Solid knowledge of cost planning software, e.g. Probis
Experience in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills and commercial/ business mindset
Fluent German and English (business/negotiation level)
High numerical affinity and structured working style
Interest in complex issues and resilience
