About this role
Role Overview
Co-lead product vision and design strategy alongside Product Managers and the data team
Define, track, and act on UX metrics such as task success rate, time on task, error rates, and behavioral signals
Proactively identify opportunities and propose product improvements grounded in user insights, metrics, and validated hypotheses
Collaborate with the data team to design A/B experiments and measure the impact of design decisions through evidence
Deliver high-quality design solutions supported by clear metrics frameworks and tracking plans
Navigate ambiguity with autonomy and initiative, defining scope, priorities, and timelines independently
Design intuitive, scalable, and visually polished user experiences across digital platforms
Use AI tools to increase efficiency, deepen research, support frontend shaping, and expand product design ownership
Contribute to defining and promoting AI standards and best practices within the design team
Participate actively in roadmap planning, sprint ceremonies, discovery sessions, and product strategy discussions
Collaborate closely with developers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and implementation quality
Guide workshops that align business goals, user needs, and product opportunities
Mentor UX/UI Designers on product thinking, design quality, and data-informed decision-making
Stay current with emerging UX/UI trends, technologies, AI capabilities, and design best practices
Support recruitment and hiring processes through portfolio reviews, technical evaluations, and interviews
Advocate for user-centered design and continuous improvement across the organization
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Interface Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Service Design, Graphic Design with emphasis in UX, or equivalent certification
4–6+ years of experience designing digital products and interfaces
At least 1–2 years demonstrating strong product thinking and data-informed decision-making
Strong experience designing end-to-end user experiences for web and/or mobile products
Demonstrated ability to define, track, and interpret UX KPIs and connect them to user and business outcomes
Experience influencing product backlogs through data-backed design proposals and validated hypotheses
Strong collaborative product mindset, working effectively with Product Managers, developers, engineers, and data teams
Experience designing and interpreting A/B experiments and usability validation initiatives
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including design systems, tokens, scalable components, and file governance
Strong understanding of UX research, interaction design, visual design, accessibility, and usability principles
Full autonomy and self-direction, with the ability to define scope, prioritize work, and manage timelines independently
Systems-oriented and strategic problem-solving mindset
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with Product Design frameworks such as Lean UX or Continuous Discovery
Well-grounded technical foundation, including frontend concepts, databases, APIs, and cloud architecture
Experience leveraging AI tools to extend design capabilities beyond traditional design workflows
Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs for quality, bias, and usability considerations
Experience mentoring or guiding other designers is a plus
Highly proficient written and spoken English (C1 or higher) and Spanish.
