Role Overview
- Develop and/or review planning documents
- Conduct building code compliance evaluations
- Perform peer reviews of plans, specifications, and technical reports
- Develop design concepts and detailed mechanical system designs
- Coordinate with architectural, civil/structural, and electrical disciplines
- Support project activities during design, bid, and construction phases
- Develop and review project schedules
- Conduct cost-benefit and feasibility studies
- Develop lifecycle cost estimates
- Serve as project or team lead as required
- Develop scopes of work and provide contract administration support
- Conduct technical studies and analyses
- Lead production of design and technical documentation
- Ensure adherence to technical and design standards
Requirements
- Must have an active TS/SCI with a CI polygraph
- Must have an ABET accredited Mechanical Engineering degree
- EIT Certificate required; Professional Engineer License preferred but not required
- Ability to develop working knowledge of all technical requirements of projects
- Experienced user on commonly used CADD software, including REVIT
- Bachelor's degree in related field with 10 years of experience
