About this role
Role Overview
- Provides direct patient care for assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
- Direct patient care duties include but are not limited to vital signs, visual monitoring, hygiene support, toileting support, nutrition support
- Responsible for timely and accurate documentation
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment
Requirements
- Two (2) years of prior patient care experience
- Certified in Basic Life Support issued by (AHA) American Heart Association before hire
- Phlebotomy skills check off required within 90 days of hire
- Proficiency in all Core Competencies of the PCT position
