Role Overview
- Act as a bridge between business and technology
- Ensure alignment between architectural decisions and business objectives
- Design and evolve scalable, resilient, high-performance architectures
- Lead architectural definitions in complex, distributed and cloud-native environments
- Translate business needs into robust technical solutions
- Define and enforce architectural standards, governance and best practices
- Support squads in solution design and technical decision-making
- Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks and integration strategies
- Ensure performance, security and compliance requirements are met
- Drive modernization and technology transformation initiatives
- Conduct architectural reviews and provide hands-on technical guidance
- Document architectural decisions and keep technical blueprints up to date
- Mentor teams and promote engineering excellence
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture and system design
- Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices and cloud-native architectures
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP — preferably GCP)
- Solid experience with backend technologies (Java, .NET, Node.js, Python)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience with APIs, integrations (REST, GraphQL) and data flow
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of scalability, performance and observability
