Role Overview
- Assist in the design and development of secondary systems for auxiliary, control, and protection applications in LV, MV, and HV substations
- Perform detailed analyses and simulations to validate system performance and identify potential issues
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, design reports, and testing procedures
- Collaborate with primary engineering teams to integrate secondary systems and troubleshoot interfaces
- Participate in system commissioning, testing, and on-site support
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and evaluation of new technologies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
- Perform maintenance and diagnostic checks of existing secondary engineering systems
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally with exposure to secondary systems
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design methodologies
- Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, simulation tools)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Basic knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
