Process daily accounting transactions including journal entries, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and inter company reconciliations.
Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable, including supplier payments and reconciliation of supplier statements.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and handle bank/cash transactions.
Prepare variance analysis reports comparing actuals vs. budget and provide commentary on key movements.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of balance sheet and P&L; accounts with proper supporting documentation.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including VAT, TDS, APS, and FY tax filings.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper filing in compliance with internal controls.
Liaise with external auditors and provide required schedules and documentation during audits.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
ACCA qualification (in progress) is an advantage
Proven experience of minimum 2 years in accounting or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook would be an advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software (SAP Business One with preference)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and analytical abilities
Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
