Generating new business while managing and growing the activity of existing customers
Managing the administrative responsibilities of the sales cycle while developing the skills for progress within the sales team
Accurately placing orders into the system from customer-issued PO’s
Following-up on orders to ensure their successful delivery within customer expectations
Leading open order management, ensuring that open orders are delivered to the customer expediently and accurately
Confirming that all invoicing activity is taking place in a timely and accurate manner
Taking a proactive role with problem resolution at the customer and supplier levels
Learning about the programs available at major vendor suppliers to source products
Assisting customers with Returns issues, order inquiries, and any other requests for information
Developing successful relationships with sales, vendors, and internal departments
Assisting with quoting and offering add-on opportunities to customers
Using proper decorum in all communications with customers
Completing projects and additional responsibilities as needed or assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ years of sales or customer service experience
Knowledge of computers/networking and the IT industry as a whole
Excellent communication/phone skills is a must
Ability to prioritize and multi task is a must
Must be a team player with a positive attitude
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products is a must.
