Customer support: central point of contact for customers via phone, email and remote access.
Independent acceptance, processing and documentation of service requests and incidents.
Technical support and system monitoring: analysis, prioritization and sustainable resolution of incidents in the areas of virtualization, Windows and Linux server services.
Administration of server hardware, storage systems, operating systems and networks.
Proactive monitoring of customer systems and regular health checks.
Identification of root causes and derivation of improvement measures.
Managed Services: planning, execution and control of managed services within agreed SLAs.
Participation in change management and consistent documentation of all processes.
Preparation of service reports and support in Continual Service Improvement (CSI).
Close collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure stable, secure and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
Professional background: completed vocational training in the IT field (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) or an equivalent qualification.
Career changers with relevant practical experience are also welcome.
Motivation and willingness to learn: you are curious, like to develop further and want to continuously expand your knowledge in a modern IT environment.
Service orientation: a professional and friendly manner when dealing with customers and colleagues is natural for you.
Strong communication and team skills: you enjoy working in a team but can also take on tasks independently.
Technical fundamentals: you are proficient with Windows (client/server) and Linux systems.
Terms such as DNS and DHCP are familiar to you, and you have a solid basic understanding of networks that you can expand in practice with us.
Virtualization & Cloud: good hands-on experience with VMware technologies (Broadcom / Omnissa) as well as knowledge of cloud environments.
Interest in IT security: you are interested in IT security topics and apply this knowledge actively in day-to-day work or continuously deepen it.
Technology affinity: enthusiasm for new technologies and trends, especially in cloud and security, combined with a willingness to pursue ongoing training.
Language skills: very good German skills, both written and spoken.
