Serve as the dedicated FP&A partner for HubSpot’s Business Technology and Security teams, owning financial planning and management across operating expenses and headcount.
Lead core financial planning rhythms, including annual planning, monthly forecasts, and ongoing budget management.
Partner with business leaders to evaluate investments, tradeoffs, and resource allocation decisions, providing clear financial guidance and decision support.
Analyze operating expense and headcount performance, delivering variance analysis, insights, and recommendations to improve visibility and forecast accuracy.
Build and maintain financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Support headcount planning and investment tracking to ensure alignment with business priorities and financial targets.
Partner with Business Technology and Security teams to support financial planning and cost management of internal and enterprise AI tooling, helping evaluate usage, scalability, and return on investment.
Prepare materials for management reviews, clearly communicating risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and automation to help the business and finance organization scale effectively.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a similar analytical role.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate complex inputs into clear insights and recommendations.
Curiosity and excitement for AI and emerging technologies, with experience applying AI tools or supporting AI-enabled process improvements in previous roles.
Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, with the ability to work effectively across financial models, reporting, and presentations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
A self-starter who operates effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapts to changing priorities, and takes ownership of outcomes.
