Provide legal advice on maritime and/or non-maritime related matters across the APAC region
Manage all legal aspects of ship financing or corporate financing transactions, including loan agreements, security documentation, and sale-leaseback arrangements.
Provide legal advice on vessel acquisitions, disposals, and fleet renewal projects.
Negotiate and draft complex financing documents with banks and financial institutions.
Draft, review and negotiate maritime related procurement agreements
Provide legal advice within the organization and across APAC countries on various business matters.
In charge of providing legal advice and support on cross-border projects such as business development and M&A in APAC
Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by the manager.
Requirements
Qualified as a solicitor and/or barrister in Singapore preferred.
Minimum 10 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in a law firm and/or in-house setting.
Strong commercial background with experience in maritime law and finance and corporate transactions.
Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating contracts in areas mentioned above.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.
