About this role
Role Overview
- Lead portfolio strategy and procurement execution for Capital Investments and Manufacturing Real Estate & Facility Services (MREF), including automation systems, manufacturing equipment, facility construction projects, and infrastructure investments.
- Acts as a critical interface between Manufacturing and Supply Chain Engineering, Facilities, and Global Procurement.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Supply Chain Engineering, Facilities, Operations, and Global Procurement stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business, facility, and infrastructure requirements.
- Develop and implement sourcing and portfolio strategies for Capital Investments and MREF in alignment with Resmed's operational and strategic objectives.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage strategic supplier relationships to optimize quality, service, delivery, and cost performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, category management, portfolio management, or related disciplines with significant exposure to Capital Investments, facility construction, and/or MREF categories
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical, operational, and project requirements into sourcing strategies, supported by strong commercial acumen, business case development, supplier management, and complex contract negotiations
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, automation systems, facility construction, utilities, and manufacturing infrastructure
- Experience managing capital investment portfolios and applying total cost of ownership, lifecycle cost modeling
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- Preferred: Experience in medical device, regulated manufacturing, or other highly regulated environments
