The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business partners to align technology solutions with business needs, manage and improve Salesforce and FinancialForce systems, and facilitate technical projects while adhering to SOX controls.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to maintain a prioritized strategic roadmap, and coordinate and execute Salesforce.com and Professional Services Automation (PSA) / FinancialForce projects and enhancements
- Provide strong analytical, problem solving, technical, and project management skills to effectively collect requirements, evaluate options, and design and deliver quality solutions
- Own functional tasks and deliverables, including: SOX reporting, process definition, requirements gathering and backlog management, vendor selection, fit/gap analysis, functional design, testing, training, reporting, support, and continuous improvement of business applications
- Create and maintain project, application and architectural design, and process documents
- Work to drive adoption and alignment across the company’s business processes and systems
- Ensure the consistency and quality of data across the company
- Use and recommend best practices while delivering scalable high quality solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (technical degree preferred)
- 7+ years of experience implementing, configuring and administering SaaS business systems for a software company, with at least 3 years of Salesforce and FinancialForce (or related) experience
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, hard working, and a great team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including experience meeting with and presenting information to senior leadership
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Salesforce.com platform, eco-system and best-practices
- Salesforce.com certification (Administrator, Advanced Administrator) and FinancialForce/Certinia certifications
- Experience with PSA concepts including resource management, project billing, and revenue recognition
- Passion for creating a frictionless end user experience
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario
