About this role
Role Overview
Serve as a subject matter expert on customer sites, addressing technical, development, and strategic IT requirements
Understand industry best practices as well as Red Hat policies, procedures, and values
Apply sound judgment to select the most effective methods for delivering solutions
Implement and integrate Red Hat open and hybrid cloud solutions, including Red Hat OpenShift and other Red Hat offerings
Collaborate with project and customer teams to meet schedules, milestones, and objectives
Contribute to project documentation and architecture diagrams, and participate in ticket and bug management
Mentor customers and share knowledge to build their capabilities
Define and promote automation techniques and DevOps practices to improve the cloud lifecycle, including infrastructure and application uptime, availability, and time-to-market
Design and implement solutions using cloud technologies, sound design principles, integration patterns, and automation approaches
Requirements
Minimum 4 years’ experience working directly with enterprise stakeholders on infrastructure projects
At least 2 years’ advanced experience with Red Hat OpenShift or its underlying components such as Kubernetes and Docker
Minimum 2 years’ experience with IT automation using Ansible
Experience with GitOps and related tooling (for example Argo CD, RHACM, Helm, Git, and Kustomize)
Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Experience implementing system infrastructure and cloud solutions, including storage, networking, monitoring, virtualization, and security
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly for technical documentation
Ability to self-learn, quickly adopt new technologies, and apply new ideas in practice
Passion for open source, software, tooling, and automation
Excellent communication skills in English and French
Availability to travel regularly within the region
