Role Overview
- Design, manage, and implement state level strategy for Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in assigned states
- Manage state-level lobbyists and execute state strategies
- Research and identify opportunities for CA’s inclusion on state lists
- Collaborate across CA to understand the state and federal education policy landscape
Requirements
- Demonstrated passion and commitment for improving student learning
- Experience working directly with senior leadership
- Proven history of business development and/or policy accomplishments
- Deep understanding of national and state level educational assessments, curriculum, and policy
- Effective communication skills
- Strong relational, interpersonal, and customer-centric skills
- Ongoing learner
- Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate deadlines
- Proficient with Programs and Applications including Outlook, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Quorum, and Microsoft Office Suite products
