Partnering with HP’s Global Pricing, Deal Management, and Commercial Operations teams to understand business requirements, architect scalable pricing solutions, and support end‑to‑end deal enablement.
Designing and optimizing pricing system capabilities, ensuring alignment to HP’s commercial governance, anticipating cross‑functional dependencies, and supporting robust testing across quoting, pricing, and approval workflows.
Engaging with HP’s global and regional Pricing, Deal Management, Category (Product Management), and Finance teams to understand business needs, qualify requirements, and identify solution improvements across pricing, quoting, and commercial governance workflows.
Architecting adaptive pricing solutions (e.g., discounting logic, approval workflows, margin controls, price waterfalls) that support business objectives, improve deal velocity, and maintain compliance with HP policies.
Building and maintaining executive‑level relationships across Pricing, Sales, Finance, and Product Categories; presenting solution designs, addressing leadership‑level concerns, and supporting commercial negotiation strategies with data‑driven insights.
Optimizing pricing systems (CPQ, revenue tools, internal pricing engines) in alignment with HP’s global IT roadmap, ensuring scalability, automation, and alignment to HP pricing guardrails and go‑to‑market motions.
Anticipating cross‑tower dependencies (quoting, catalog, product configuration, finance integrations) and mitigating risks across upstream and downstream pricing data flows.
Directing activities across pricing solution workstreams; collaborating with financial analysts, pricing managers, writers, and operations teams to consolidate pricing assumptions, pricing models, and commercial documentation.
Supporting Development of transition and change‑management plans for new pricing capabilities; contributing to solution reviews, governance checkpoints, and HP commercial policy alignment reviews.
Supporting cost estimation, pricing model enhancements, and development of strategic pricing frameworks used by deal teams globally.
Requirements
Recommended Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline; or comparable work experience in pricing architecture or deal management.
Typically 7–10 years of experience, ideally in pricing, deal management, revenue operations, CPQ architecture, business process architecture, commercial governance, or technical sales within a global enterprise.
