Role Overview
- Receive and make telephone calls for quotes, policy issuance, service, endorsements/changes, cancellations and renewals in commercial insurance.
- Make outbound solicitation calls to prospects sourced from assigned work plans or external lists.
- Advise clients and affiliated agents on the selection of required coverages and protections.
- Provide and explain to affiliated agents the reasons for acceptance or denial of specific requests.
- Serve as a point of contact for affiliated agents.
- Analyze proposals, conduct external inquiries, and enter insurance transactions into the system.
- Coordinate appropriate inspections based on risk types and administrative guidelines.
- Review inspection reports and assess risks.
Requirements
- College diploma in Insurance and Financial Services
- Valid commercial insurance agent certificate issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial insurance
- Minimum of 6 PAA or FPAA courses from the Insurance Institute of Canada (Institut d'assurance de dommages du Canada)
