Role Overview
- Provide basic project design through CAD drafting
- Instruct drafters on how to create drawings of designs
- Prepare project schedules
- Perform research and write technical reports
- Travel to job sites for observation
- Provide small scale design elements for engineering projects
- Perform basic plan production
- Develop and apply knowledge and experience working within design and modeling software
- Assist with preparation of project documentation and schedules
- Coordinate with experienced engineers and designers on non-routine techniques and procedures
- Gather research, recommend solutions, and create drafts of technical reports
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to contribute and work well on a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Must possess Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certificate
- 2+ years of related civil engineering design experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (Civil 3D is a plus)
