AUTONOMY TO OWN YOUR PATH.

EVERY TOP SALES REP HAD A DAY ONE.

Make yours count.

DuraServ is looking for a competitive, coachable Sales Specialist ready to build the skills, the habits, and the track record that launch a full sales career — with a guaranteed base, a bonus structure tied to results, and a direct path to uncapped commission.

Sales Specialist | B2B Industrial Sales | Entry-Level | Guaranteed Base + Performance Bonus.

This Is Where a Sales Career Starts.

DuraServ is the market leader in commercial dock and door solutions — the essential infrastructure that keeps warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial facilities running. Our best Outside Sales Representatives own their territories, close their deals, and earn without a ceiling. Every single one of them started somewhere.

The Sales Specialist role is the structured starting point. You'll learn the product, work real accounts alongside experienced sales professionals, build your pipeline from scratch, and earn a performance bonus tied directly to the revenue you drive. The guaranteed base removes the financial barrier that keeps talented people out of commission sales. The path to a full Outside Sales Representative role with uncapped commission is the destination.

If you've got the drive and the coachability — we'll build the rest. This is your on-ramp.

What You'll Do

Learn to Hunt

Territory Development — identify and prospect new business opportunities through cold outreach, site visits, and direct client engagement alongside experienced sales professionals
Client-Facing Selling — conduct in-person meetings, product presentations, and site assessments with customers to develop core sales skills in a live environment — building the reps and the confidence to operate independently
Product & Market Mastery — develop comprehensive knowledge of DuraServ's product portfolio, installation capabilities, service offerings, and competitive landscape

Learn to Own

Pipeline Management — build and maintain an active opportunity pipeline using CRM tools, tracking prospects, follow-up activity, and deal progression from first contact through close
Proposal & Quote Support — prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals under the guidance of senior sales staff, developing the technical and commercial skills required to quote independently
Revenue Milestone Ownership — take personal accountability for shipped order volume, with direct bonus earning tied to annual shipped revenue milestones

Build Toward More

Cross-Functional Learning — partner with Service Technicians, Installation teams, and Branch leadership to understand DuraServ's full operational model and develop the business acumen needed to succeed as a commissioned sales professional
Career Conversion Readiness — actively work toward the performance benchmarks required to transition into a full Outside Sales Representative role with uncapped commission potential

Who You Are

You don't need a perfect resume. You need the competitive fire, the work ethic, and the coachability that the best salespeople are built from.

Competitive drive — a hunger to win that doesn't require a manager to light the fire; you prospect because you want to, you follow up because you have to, and you close because that's the whole point
Coachable — the discipline to absorb feedback, apply it immediately, and continuously sharpen your approach; the best salespeople never stop learning
Persuasive communication — skill in connecting with people quickly, asking the right questions, and presenting solutions in a way that makes the decision easy for the client
Resilient optimism — the ability to hear "no" and treat it as the starting line, not the finish; rejection builds your edge, it doesn't break your stride
Organizational discipline — skill in managing your time, pipeline, and follow-up activity with precision; opportunities don't close themselves, and no deal falls through the cracks
Growth orientation — you see the guaranteed base as a launchpad, not a destination; the uncapped commission role is where you're headed and you're willing to earn it

What We're Looking For

High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
1+ year of combined experience in sales, business development, or a related practice — or demonstrated competitive drive through internships, athletics, entrepreneurship, fundraising, or recruiting
No prior outside sales experience required — we train the right person; drive and coachability are the requirements
Valid driver's license — this is a field-based role with 50% travel to client locations and job sites

What's in It for You

A guaranteed base that removes the risk. A performance bonus tied to your results. And a direct path to a commission-based career where top performers earn without a ceiling.

Guaranteed base salary — financial stability while you build your skills and your pipeline
Performance bonus tied to shipped revenue milestones — your effort has a direct payoff from day one
Vehicle allowance — you're in the field, we cover the road
Full benefits package: medical, dental, vision, and 401K with company match
Company-provided life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
Structured mentorship from experienced sales professionals who've built the territories you'll eventually own
A clear conversion path — hit your benchmarks and move into a full Outside Sales Representative role with uncapped commission

A Direct Note to the Right Candidate.

If you've been looking for a way into a real sales career — one where the training is structured, the mentorship is real, the product is essential, and the path to commission is defined — this is it.

The Sales Specialist role exists because we know that great salespeople aren't always found — they're developed. We created this role to find the right raw material and build something lasting. The guaranteed base is a bridge, not a destination. The destination is a territory of your own.

Autonomy to own your path. This is where that path begins.
