Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager for a contract opportunity with a well-established insurance organization in Coppell, TX. This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, five days a week.

The HR Manager will work closely with the VP of Human Resources and operating unit leadership to support and execute key human resources strategies and business initiatives.

This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, providing guidance across a broad range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, talent development, succession planning, compensation, and employee engagement.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with strong business judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to provide guidance on performance management, employee development, compensation, succession planning, recognition, and employee relations.
• Coach and advise managers through employee performance issues, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
• Support employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, complaints, harassment allegations, and other sensitive issues.
• Partner with leadership and recruiting teams to identify staffing needs, develop job requirements, and support internal and external recruiting efforts.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and programs designed to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
• Assist with the development and delivery of management and employee training programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall employee experience.
• Assist with ADA administration and employee accommodations as needed.
• Ensure timely completion and compliance of new-hire I-9 documentation, including remote employee verification requirements.
• Analyze employee relations trends and exit interview feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with employee recognition programs and other HR initiatives.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on career development, workplace challenges, communication, and performance-related matters.
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives that support company goals.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of progressive human resources experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with leadership and employees at all levels.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to balance employee needs and business objectives.
