Senior Automation Engineer

DigiCatalysts is hiring a Senior Automation Engineer to build production-grade enterprise automations. The role owns workflows from architecture through monitoring, reliability, and long-term operation, including integrating AI into production workflows and working with clients to deliver systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build durable workflow automations with monitoring, retries, and audit trails
• Integrate AI (LLMs, extraction, classification) into production workflows with evaluation harnesses
• Own the reliability of what you ship — on-call, runbooks, incident response
• Work directly with clients to translate operational pain into shipped systems

Requirements:

• 5+ years building production software; meaningful experience with orchestration, integrations, or data pipelines
• Strong engineering fundamentals: version control, testing, observability
• Comfort with LLMs and AI tooling, and the judgment to know when not to use them
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
