Director 2, Business Analytics

Sodexo is hiring a Director 2, Business Analytics to lead FP&A and business analytics for its Education segment. The role provides strategic financial leadership, supports planning and performance management, and turns financial and operational data into insights that inform decisions across Campus and K-12 Schools.

Responsibilities:

• This virtual position serves as the FP&A leader for the Education segment, providing strategic financial leadership, performance management, and decision support to the Education CFO and senior finance leadership
• The role leads the FP&A and Business Analytics team supporting Campus and K-12 Schools and works closely with Segment Finance and Operations leadership
• Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions
• Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization
• Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management
• Champion the development of enterprise-wide analytics that bring clarity and consistency to business performance
• Lead the creation of meaningful KPIs and dashboards that tell the full story driving accountability and strategic focus
• Shape scalable reporting solutions and frameworks that align with evolving business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to convert complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations
• Influence high-level decisions by translating forecasts and results into compelling, executive-ready narratives
• Own the optimization of reporting tools and processes, building a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Gain broad visibility and impact by overseeing analytical strategy across multiple business units and geographic areas
• The position establishes a consistent FP&A operating rhythm across Education, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and forward-looking analysis
• The role translates financial and operational performance into actionable insights, challenges assumptions, and helps drive decisions that improve growth and profitability

Requirements:

• Expertise in financial planning, data analytics, and performance management with a strong command of business drivers
• Advanced Excel capabilities and hands-on experience with data modeling, manipulation, and visualization tools such as Power BI or similar
• A strategic mindset paired with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-impact priorities independently
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a confident ability to challenge assumptions and influence executive-level decisions
• A leadership approach that fosters collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams and functions
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
