Sales Development Representative

MentorPRO is hiring its first Sales Development Representative to build pipeline, qualify prospects, book demos, and support deals through procurement and renewals. The role works closely with leadership and offers a path to Account Executive.

Responsibilities:

• Research mentoring programs, find the right contact and write short, personal outreach by email and LinkedIn
• Respond to inbound interest within one business day, qualify it and book demos
• Book meetings around conferences such as the National Mentoring Summit and the First-Year Experience conference, and follow up afterward
• Join discovery calls and demos, then run them yourself as you ramp
• Keep HubSpot accurate:
• Contacts and notes
• Next steps and deal stages
• Handle procurement paperwork:
• Vendor forms
• Security questionnaires
• W-9s and purchase orders
• Help programs write MentorPRO into grant applications
• Work with Customer Success on smaller renewals

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in sales, customer-facing work, fundraising, admissions, recruiting or a similar role (internships count)
• Clear, concise writing. You can get a busy executive director to reply
• Follow-through. You do what you say you will, on time, without reminders
• Curiosity about how programs work and comfort asking good questions
• Interest in education, youth development or nonprofits
• Comfort with CRM tools (HubSpot a plus) and learning new software quickly
