Data Analyst

OpenDor Media is hiring a Data Analyst to keep organizational and funder data accurate, current, and usable. The role handles data requests and reporting, builds Looker Studio dashboards, and validates BigQuery data against source platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Answer data requests from fundraising, department heads and leadership, prepare the analysis behind organization-wide and grant reporting, and turn recurring asks into standing reports
• Build and improve the Looker Studio dashboards teams use to track their own performance, including cross-divisional KPI views, and help colleagues find answers on their own
• Validate BigQuery tables and metrics against their source platforms, diagnose reporting bugs, and build corrected versions in the analytics layer for the warehouse team to apply

Requirements:

• You have 3-5 years in data analytics, business intelligence or a related role
• You have a bachelor's degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• You're comfortable writing SQL in BigQuery or a similar cloud warehouse, including validating data across sources and schema design
• You work confidently in Looker Studio or similar BI tools, advanced Excel, and a CRM, ideally Salesforce
• You already use AI tools like Claude in your day-to-day analytical work
• You're analytical, organized, and good at seeing a project through from request to delivery
• You can explain what the numbers mean to technical and non-technical people alike
• You're curious and self-motivated
• A stickler for accuracy
• You check numbers against the source, and you notice when something doesn't add up
• Someone who closes the loop
• When the same request comes in twice, your instinct is to turn it into a standing report so nobody has to ask a third time
• A good detective
• When a report looks off, you dig in until you find out why
• Quick to get up to speed
• You're comfortable picking up existing dashboards and processes and running with them from the first weeks
• Social media analytics
• ETL, Python or scripting experience
• Experience reporting against grant or funder commitments
