AI Agent Engineer | Microsoft Copilot Studio

Lumen Resources is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise AI agents and intelligent automation solutions. The role covers end-to-end solution delivery using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI services, and custom development, including integrations, security, deployment, and ongoing optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, and deploy production-ready AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Develop intelligent assistants, knowledge agents, and workflow automation solutions
• Leverage Microsoft Foundry Agent Service, tool calling, MCP integrations, and agent orchestration for advanced use cases
• Build reusable components and frameworks to support scalable AI development
• Develop REST APIs, custom connectors, webhooks, and supporting services using Python, C#/.NET, or TypeScript/JavaScript
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, data sources, and internal systems
• Build automated workflows using Power Automate, agent flows, and appropriate custom development
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID and OAuth 2.0
• Manage solutions through development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, source control, and application lifecycle management (ALM) practices
• Apply enterprise security, governance, and data protection standards
• Troubleshoot agent performance, integrations, orchestration, and production issues
• Monitor and optimize reliability, scalability, performance, and cost
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into practical AI solutions
• Evaluate available platforms, automation tools, and custom development approaches to determine the best technical solution
• Own end-to-end solution delivery, documentation, and continuous improvement
• Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, operational efficiency, and business processes

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience developing and deploying production AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 integrations
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, C#/.NET, or TypeScript/JavaScript
• Experience developing REST APIs, custom integrations, and enterprise applications
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Entra ID, and OAuth authentication
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, application lifecycle management, and enterprise deployment practices
• Understanding of LLMs, AI agent architectures, tool calling, retrieval, and responsible AI practices
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently deliver secure, production-ready solutions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
