Senior Technical Support Engineer

Avenga is hiring a Senior Technical Support Engineer to provide advanced support for cloud infrastructure products and operator suites. The role focuses on troubleshooting complex technical issues, maintaining customer satisfaction, and supporting reliable cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure products and operator suites
• Perform in-depth log debugging and analysis
• Support customer KPIs and SLAs
• Execute software upgrades and patching
• Lead emergency recovery for outages
• Maintain customer lab environments
• Mentor and train other engineers
• Document technical solutions and contribute to the knowledge base

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience in customer-facing technical support roles
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Advanced)
• Solid L2/L3 networking knowledge: stacks, switching, routing, firewalls
• Experience working with Linux
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple customer issues in dynamic, high-pressure environments
• Must be a US Citizen
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with ELK stack
• Background working with Telecommunication Providers
