Sales Account Manager/ US West

Applied Biological Materials (abm) is a life sciences company supplying research reagents and custom services. The Sales Account Manager drives sales growth and manages customer relationships across the western United States by developing accounts, presenting solutions, and coordinating customer support and sales activity.

Responsibilities:

• Driving sales growth and managing customer relationships across the western United States
• Identifying and qualifying leads, presenting product and service solutions, and developing account plans to expand business within assigned territories
• Respond to customer inquiries, provide product and technical information in collaboration with internal teams, and ensure a smooth purchasing experience
• Maintaining a sales pipeline, preparing quotes and proposals, following up on opportunities, and tracking activities in a CRM system
• Gathering customer feedback, monitoring market trends, and partnering with marketing and product teams to improve offerings and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Strong account management skills with experience in building, maintaining, and growing customer relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
• Demonstrated ability in customer service and customer satisfaction, including resolving issues promptly, managing expectations, and providing a positive customer experience
• Proven lead generation and sales development capabilities, with experience in prospecting, qualifying leads, and converting opportunities into revenue
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and collaborate across internal teams
• Background in life sciences (e.g., biology, biochemistry, biotechnology) or related field
• Prior experience in B2B sales or account management within biotech, pharma, or research reagents is an asset
• Comfort working remotely, managing time effectively, and using digital tools such as CRM software, virtual meeting platforms, and online collaboration systems
• a bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience
