Project Manager Civil

3 Rocks Engineering & Surveying is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to serve as the technical lead for its civil site development team. The role focuses on commercial site plans, residential subdivisions, and local utility design, while leading engineers and drafters and ensuring design quality and team development.

Responsibilities:

• You will own the technical side of our projects, with a primary focus on commercial civil site plans, residential subdivisions, and local utility design
• You will also lead a team of five engineers and drafters: setting the design approach, scheduling and assigning their workload, reviewing and mentoring their work, and making sure what leaves our office is right

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain licensure within two months of hire
• Six or more years of hands-on grading, drainage, and utility design experience (with strong site development expertise)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Direct experience leading technical team members, managing engineers/drafters, or serving as a project lead
• Experience working on civil design projects in rural Colorado
• Construction administration experience
• Design experience specific to Colorado regulations and site conditions
• Proficiency in water distribution modeling and design
