Senior Director of Business Analysis

Fundação Ageas is hiring a Senior Director of Business Analysis to lead the analysis and optimization of business processes and requirements across the organization. The role leads analysts, partners with finance and operational stakeholders, coordinates cross-functional projects, and presents insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

• The Senior Director of Business Analysis at Fundação Ageas is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the analysis and optimization of business processes and requirements across the organization
• This role oversees a team of analysts, setting analytical frameworks, defining priorities, and ensuring that insights are translated into actionable recommendations for senior leadership
• Daily responsibilities include gathering and validating business requirements, partnering with finance and operational stakeholders to evaluate performance, and identifying opportunities for efficiency, risk mitigation, and value creation
• The Senior Director will coordinate cross-functional projects, develop reporting and decision-support tools, and present clear findings to executive stakeholders to support strategic and operational decisions
• The role also involves mentoring team members, establishing best practices in business analysis, and continuously improving methodologies, standards, and documentation

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and develop clear, data-driven insights
• Proven experience in business analysis and defining business requirements, with a track record of translating stakeholder needs into structured solutions
• Solid understanding of finance and financial performance metrics, with the ability to connect business process changes to financial outcomes
• Expertise in business process design, optimization, and mapping to improve efficiency, control, and service quality
• Experience leading and developing analytical or business analysis teams, including setting priorities and managing cross-functional initiatives
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership
• Proficiency with relevant tools (e.g., Excel, BI platforms, process mapping tools)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing time, expectations, and collaboration across distributed teams
• familiarity with data visualization and reporting solutions is an advantage
• Experience in the nonprofit or insurance/financial services sector is a plus
• knowledge of governance and risk management practices
