Business Systems Analyst

ResolveOps is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to trace how requests and records move through clients’ systems and document what needs to change. The role maps processes, identifies gaps, writes requirements, reconciles data between systems, and prepares and records test cases.

Responsibilities:

• Map a process from the first request to the final record, exception routes included
• Compare what a system actually does with what the team expects, and document the gaps
• Write requirements and field mappings for a new form, approval rule or integration
• Pull record samples with SQL or exports and reconcile them between two systems
• Prepare test cases for normal work and for the exceptions, then record what happened

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in information systems, business, computer science or something close
• Some experience in business or systems analysis, IT support or reporting, including internships
• Basic SQL: SELECT queries with joins and filters
• Excel, including pivot tables and XLOOKUP
• Hands-on time with ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira or an ERP system
• Process diagrams in Visio, Lucidchart or BPMN
