Senior/Staff Software Engineer

FluxCap builds software for lawyers handling complex litigation, beginning with antitrust cases. The Senior/Staff Software Engineer will turn litigators’ reasoning into software, owning product interfaces, data models, and AI workflows while making architectural decisions and supporting production systems.

Responsibilities:

• Take major product capabilities from an open-ended problem through design, implementation, and production use
• Design data models that connect legal claims, the elements lawyers must prove, facts, and supporting evidence while preserving sources and competing interpretations
• Build extraction and research workflows that organize documents, actors, and timelines and surface gaps in a case
• Build evaluations and review tools that measure AI quality and turn attorney corrections into better results while respecting case-data boundaries
• Make deliberate tradeoffs around reliability, performance, and cost. Help other engineers through design discussions and code review
