Staff Product Manager, AI Research

Kadence is recruiting for an AI company working in generative video and world models. The Staff Product Manager will connect AI research and engineering with customer needs, identify product opportunities, and guide products from early model development through launch.

Responsibilities:

• Work with research and engineering teams from early model development and pre-training through product launch
• Identify product opportunities created by new technical capabilities and decide which are worth pursuing
• Define the user problem, product direction and priorities as the technology evolves
• Speak with customers, learn from how they use the product and bring those insights back into development
• Own decisions across the full product lifecycle, including the trade-offs needed to get a product into users’ hands

Requirements:

• Experience making and owning product decisions in a technically complex environment
• A substantive technical foundation. This may come from software engineering, data science, technical founding experience, or education in computer science, mathematics, statistics or physics
• Clear examples of connecting technical work to a product rationale and measurable user or business value
• Evidence of initiative and ownership, whether through products you've shipped, a company you've helped build, or substantial work outside your formal remit
• Experience in generative video, multimodal AI, robotics or creative tools
