AI & Data Automation Developer Co-Op (2027 Spring Semester)

Coretek hires an AI & Data Automation Developer Co-Op to build and deploy AI-powered automation solutions for business teams. The role involves identifying workflow needs, developing and testing solutions, documenting them, and iterating based on stakeholder feedback across Microsoft AI and automation tools.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders across different departments to identify processes suited to automation and scope solutions around their needs
• Design, build, and refine automation and AI-agent solutions, progressing from an initial prototype to a stable, deployable solution
• Apply AI techniques, such as generative AI models, prompt design, and conversational agents, to automate and improve business processes
• Test and validate solutions against real data and edge cases, addressing inaccuracies in AI output before deployment
• Communicate technical work to non-technical stakeholders, including estimating and reporting the time or effort a solution saves
• Document workflows, architecture, and design decisions clearly enough for others to maintain, extend, or take over the solution
• Collaborate with other interns and team members to share ideas and troubleshoot challenges in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Research emerging AI and automation technologies and share relevant findings with the team
