Growth Product Manager, Activation & Monetization

ClickUp is building an AI-powered workspace that brings together work tools and context-driven AI. The Growth Product Manager will build and own an AI-powered system that guides users from signup through activation and retention to paid conversion, partnering with founders and cross-functional teams to prototype, ship, and improve the experience.

Responsibilities:

• Own the post-signup journey across onboarding, activation, retention, and conversion to paid, connecting in-product experiences, in-app guidance, and lifecycle email
• Find where users drop off in onboarding and activation funnels, and partner with Product to ship changes that fix them
• Build AI systems that generate new content for each individual user based on their intent, workspace context, and product behavior
• Build recursive learning loops so the system measures outcomes, learns what worked, and improves future content and decisions on its own, with humans reviewing and steering
• Drive paywall, upgrade, promo, and anti-churn experiences that reflect real value, not short-term pressure
• Partner directly with the founders, Product, Engineering, and Data to prototype, ship, and iterate fast

Requirements:

• Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily
• we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process
• 5+ years in growth, lifecycle, or growth product roles in self-serve SaaS, with measurable activation, retention, or monetization results
• Proven experience optimizing onboarding and activation funnels, working closely with Product to ship changes to the core experience, not just the messaging around it
• Hands-on experience building AI systems that generate user-level content, beyond templated personalization or segment routing
• Hands-on experience building systems that recursively learn from performance data and adapt without manual rework
• Technical fluency to connect behavioral data, AI decisioning, content generation, and delivery into one working system
• Strong experimentation and product judgment, and comfortable operating as an IC with high ownership and little process
