Business Analyst

Patriot Industrial Partners is hiring a Business Analyst Intern to support the firm’s internal operations and client projects. The role contributes to market and strategic analysis, financial modeling, project deliverables, marketing, and implementation of firm initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• The Business Analyst Intern will work directly with Business Analyst Team with occasional guidance from Managing Director tasks and initiatives on projects that involve Go To Market Strategies, strategic analysis of markets and implementing strategic initiatives across the advisory firm
• Creating final phase project review case studies and insights for each project completed
• Building case studies, conducting financial modeling and creating return on investment plans
• Working with advisors and analysts on client project deliverables and material preparation
• Developing strategies to fulfill complex project assignments and client presentations and deliverables
• Assist with marketing on LinkedIn and coordinating articles written with publications
• Completing customer relationship management (CRM) updates with all contacts made
• Assist with marketing and identifying key trends across markets and industries
• Organizing & integrating information into analytical models with translated recommendations
• Standardizing and professionalizing the firm
• Creating, implementing and managing both onboarding and training for firm employees
• Strategy objectives support and implementing / measuring corresponding KPIs

Requirements:

• Senior year undergrad or in an MBA at an accredited university
• Some experience to management consulting, excel modeling, market research and presentation prep
• Advanced capabilities using MS-Excel & MS-PPT and creating executive presentations
• Some experience in financial modeling, management consulting and corporate strategy
• Competencies & values needed - Integrity, accountability, teamwork & being motivated & self-starter
• Demonstrated attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Working toward or holding a degree in Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred
• Relevant skills such as proficiency in Excel or other analytical tools, familiarity with PowerPoint or visualization software, and comfort working with both qualitative and quantitative data are beneficial
• Interest in industrial sectors (e.g., Transportation, Energy, Defense, Machinery, Technology) and policy or regulatory issues is a plus
