Business Operations Analyst-Revenue Cycle

MultiCare Health System is hiring a Business Operations Analyst-Revenue Cycle to support system-wide patient financial services. The role helps troubleshoot and resolve workflow and system issues affecting receivables, analyze data, and coordinate with revenue cycle, IS&T, and other teams.

Responsibilities:

• The Business Operations Analyst-Revenue Cycle is responsible for supporting the patient financial services (PFS) system-wide by serving as an internal liaison and resource to other departments, systems coordinator in IS&T, Billing System Analysts and revenue cycle leadership in troubleshooting, problem resolution and receivables analysis
• The duties include assisting with identifying, reviewing, researching, analyzing and resolving workflow or system issues negatively impacting receivables
• Work situations require system identification and problem-solving techniques, interpretation of information from a variety of sources, researching problems, data analyses, and the use of discretion and good judgment in decision making
• External contacts include third party, private insurance payers and application vendors
• Internal contacts are primarily within the Revenue Cycle and IS&T, but may also include Patient Access, Patient Care Teams, Clinical Directors, Medical Records Staff and partner with ILD to provide users with targeted and general training classes

Requirements:

• Minimum three (3) years relevant systems and analytical experience
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• AAHAM or HFMA certification preferred
• Minimum one (1) year experience developing, implementing, operating, maintaining or using EPIC information systems in hospital and/or clinic settings preferred
