Head of AI

RiteSize is building Spot, an AI commodity trader for managing metals transactions from supplier to buyer. The Head of AI will lead Spot’s technical direction and build production AI systems to coordinate trade workflows, execute routine transactions, and safely escalate exceptions.

Responsibilities:

• Buyer matching and repeat purchasing: Build agents that match available material with buyer requirements, follow up with counterparties, and coordinate recurring orders
• Transaction execution: Connect contracts, shipping, financing, and payment workflows into a coordinated system
• Document intelligence: Improve how Spot extracts, validates, and reconciles information across invoices, contracts, bills of lading, and other trade documents
• Reliable autonomy: Build evaluations, monitoring, audit trails, approval controls, and exception handling so Spot can take on greater responsibility safely
• Learning from transactions: Use purchasing patterns, execution history, and counterparty performance to improve matching and decisions
• Technical leadership: Own model selection, architecture, integrations, and engineering standards, and help recruit the team as we grow
• Your first priority will be to turn a recurring trade workflow into a production system that can execute routine steps, track progress, and escalate exceptions with the context our team needs to act
