Regional Market Manager - Georgia/Alabama

Stanley Black & Decker is a global tools and industrial company with a portfolio of well-known brands. The Regional Market Manager will lead commercial construction field sales across Georgia and Alabama by setting sales targets, developing strategic plans, managing key accounts, mentoring direct reports, and leveraging business systems to achieve growth and profitability goals.

Responsibilities:

• Establish aggressive but accurate sales targets & forecasts that meet and exceed divisions expectations
• Devise full year strategic plans to achieve top line sales targets – minimally growing the business double digits over prior year – while meeting established P&L goals for the local market and remaining within assigned T&E and TF budgets
• Foster and advance key account relationships including ownership, management, marketing, and sales
• Develop a highly engaged team of direct reports to meet their potential and embrace the goals and objectives of the division through a regular frequency of mentoring and training
• Understand and effectively leverage critical business systems including BW, Tool Commerce, SalesForce.com, dashboards, opportunities, WIGs etc

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields
• Relevant construction field experience could be a substitute for higher education
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results
• Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
• Master's Degree
• 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record delivering results
• 3+ years of direct managerial experience
