Principal Customer Experience Program Manager

The Principal Customer Experience Program Manager will shape Azure Capacity Management operations by identifying customer, business, and operational needs, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and developing scalable process, automation, governance, and workflow solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to simplify, scale, and improve operational processes by translating customer, business, and organizational needs into sustainable solutions and actionable recommendations
• Partner across Engineering, Finance, Capacity Management, Business Operations, and Product teams to coordinate complex initiatives, align priorities, and improve execution of strategic and operational outcomes
• Design and implement automation, reporting, and workflow improvements that reduce manual effort, increase visibility, and help teams make informed decisions more efficiently
• Analyze operational, customer, and business signals to identify emerging trends, recurring challenges, and opportunities for process improvement, enabling teams to respond proactively and effectively
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, business processes, and operating mechanisms that support consistent execution, transparency, and accountability across programs and organizations
• Serve as a trusted partner for addressing new and evolving business needs by bringing structure to ambiguous situations, coordinating stakeholders, and helping teams move from issue identification to solution implementation
• Contribute to organizational learning and long-term transformation by documenting best practices, sharing insights, and helping teams adopt scalable approaches, automation, and continuous improvement methods

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
• This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 12+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience
