Implementation Project Manager (WMS & TMS)

ShipHawk provides warehouse and transportation management software that helps businesses streamline fulfillment operations, optimize shipping, and scale efficiently. The Implementation Project Manager will lead multiple end-to-end WMS and TMS implementations, coordinating customers and technical teams from kickoff through go-live while managing timelines, risks, deliverables, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage multiple concurrent WMS and TMS implementation projects from kickoff through successful go-live
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Proactively manage dependencies, identify risks, and remove roadblocks to keep projects on track
• Ensure implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation process
• Lead customer kickoff meetings, status updates, and project discussions with clear agendas, action items, and next steps
• Provide proactive, transparent communication regarding project progress, timelines, risks, and deliverables
• Set clear expectations and build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders
• Identify and escalate potential challenges early while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date project documentation, task tracking, and status reports
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule
• Follow up on outstanding action items and drive accountability across project teams
• Anticipate potential delays and develop actionable contingency plans to keep implementations moving forward
• Balance competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail across multiple projects
• Collaborate closely with Implementation Engineers, Product, and other internal teams to support successful deployments
• Perform or coordinate system configuration, data setup, integrations, testing, and validation activities
• Develop a strong understanding of ShipHawk's WMS and TMS solutions and how they support customer operations
• Help troubleshoot implementation challenges by bringing together the right technical resources
• Ensure customers are prepared for go-live through appropriate testing, validation, and readiness activities
• Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, documentation, and customer experiences
• Share best practices and lessons learned across the team
• Contribute to scalable implementation methodologies that support ShipHawk's continued growth

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in SaaS implementation, technical project management, or customer-facing software delivery
• Proven experience managing multiple complex customer implementation projects simultaneously
• Strong project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder coordination
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence leading customer-facing meetings
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a track record of meeting deadlines and driving projects to completion
• Comfortable working with technical concepts, software configurations, data workflows, and integrations
• Self-starter mentality with a high level of accountability, initiative, and ownership
• Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP platforms, or other supply chain technology
• Understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, or logistics workflows
• Experience working with APIs, EDI, system integrations, or data migration processes
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms
• Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
• PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certifications
