Data Analyst

Climate First Bank is a Florida Benefit Corporation and FDIC-insured commercial bank focused on sustainable, ethical banking and climate finance. The Data Analyst will develop and enhance enterprise reporting, translate business requirements into technical specifications, automate workflows and reporting, validate data, and support core conversion activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise reporting both recurring and ad hoc
• Translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications
• Validate report accuracy through testing, reconciliation, and data quality reviews
• Develop automated reporting solutions that reduce manual processes and improve efficiency
• Assist with core conversion planning, testing, reconciliation, and post-conversion validation
• Partner with the Systems Analyst on managing core changes
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for workflow automation within the Jack Henry & Associates ecosystem
• Work closely with IT, Operations, Compliance, and other departments to ensure workflows meet regulatory and business requirements
• Adopt a commitment to environmental, social, economic, and racial justice
• Stay informed of applicable regulatory requirements and complete all mandatory compliance and IT training
• Pursue and demonstrate an understanding of established Bank policies, procedures, and regulations
• Question suspicious activity and collaborate closely with the respective department(s) to help prevent fraudulent activity

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Jack Henry SilverLake platform
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or 3+ years of experience in workflow automation, business process improvement, or systems analysis
• 5+ years of banking experience
• Advanced Cognos report-writing expertise or equivalent enterprise reporting experience
• Jack Henry SilverLake or CIF 20/20 knowledge
• Experience validating and reconciling data during core conversions
• Experience with Google Looker Studio, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or modern analytics platforms
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on report development
• You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who solves problems efficiently, seeks operational efficiencies and has the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• You love a good system but also adapt to changing routines
• You can work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying on top of things with ease and consistency
• You communicate with confidence, precision, and professionalism. You listen deeply and respond thoughtfully and engage stakeholders at all levels efficiently and tactfully
• You possess a strong understanding of banking operations, compliance standards, and customer service workflows
• You learn new tools quickly, are excited by innovation and leverage technology to optimize your work product
• You are no stranger to Excel, databases, and form-building tools
• You know how to operate as a part of a larger team and love contributing to the big picture. You're dependable and always happy to lend a hand where needed

• Preferred experience in SQL scripting and reporting
• Experience with Power BI is a plus
