Sr Business Analyst - Data and Reporting - Remote

The Senior Business Analyst, Data & Reporting will support and enhance data, analytics, and reporting capabilities, translate business requirements into scalable solutions, and provide actionable insights. The role also drives reporting governance, data quality, KPI development, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate reporting requirements into scalable analytics and reporting solutions
• Develop, enhance, and maintain operational reports, executive scorecards, dashboards, and self-service reporting tools
• Analyze business performance, trends, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and risks
• Support development and maintenance of KPI frameworks aligned to business objectives
• Deliver recurring and ad hoc analyses that enable data-driven decision-making
• Support reporting governance processes, business definitions, metric standards, and data documentation
• Participate in data quality monitoring and validation activities to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
• Assist in maintaining data dictionaries, reporting inventories, and metadata repositories
• Identify data quality issues and partner with technology and business teams to drive resolution
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Account Management, Client Services, Finance, Compliance, and Analytics teams to support reporting and analytics initiatives
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and support prioritization of reporting enhancements
• Provide guidance on metric definitions, reporting methodologies, and data interpretation
• Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders and leadership teams
• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency
• Support implementation of reporting standards, governance controls, and best practices
• Contribute to enhancement of reporting tools, data models, and analytics capabilities
• Assist in testing and validation activities for reporting, dashboard, and data platform enhancements
• Translate complex data into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations
• Support root cause analysis, trend analysis, and performance assessments
• Develop executive-ready reporting materials and presentations
• Monitor key business indicators and proactively identify significant performance changes

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, business analysis, product support, or related discipline
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating business needs into reporting or technical solutions
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Proven communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• 2+ years of experience supporting cross-functional initiatives involving reporting, analytics, data governance, or business intelligence
• Experience within healthcare, health plans, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, financial services, fintech, benefits administration, payments, or healthcare technology organizations
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Azure Data Platform, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar analytics technologies
• Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and business intelligence solutions
• Experience utilizing data to support operational improvement and business decision-making
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and product delivery frameworks
