Business Analyst

Amivero delivers digital services and modernizes mission-critical information technology systems for the federal government. The Business Analyst will collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business needs into requirements, document workflows and specifications, and support user acceptance testing, training, and requirements traceability.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Manager, stakeholders, and technical teams to capture and document business requirements
• Develop and maintain process workflows, data flows, use cases, and functional specifications
• Define and document acceptance criteria for features and enhancements
• Partner with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure solutions meet business and mission objectives
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and defect tracking
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams
• Facilitate communication between business users and technical staff to ensure mutual understanding
• Contribute to backlog refinement by clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment with priorities
• Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the product lifecycle
• Use collaboration and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to track and manage artifacts
• Support the creation, organization, and coordination of training materials and sessions to ensure successful adoption of new features and systems
• Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, aligned with workflows, and effectively communicated to end users
• Stay current with tools and practices that enhance requirements analysis, testing, and automation

Requirements:

• US Citizenship required to obtain DHS Public Trust
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• A bachelor's degree with an additional three (3) or more years of relevant experience may substitute for a master's degree
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of directly related experience as a Business Analyst or Quality Analyst (combined experience)
• Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of Agile practices, backlog management, and user story development
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives
• Experience supporting user acceptance testing and validation activities
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Active DHS Clearance
