Regional Sales Manager-Fire Protection Division

Tarsco Bolted Tank, a TF Warren Company, engineers, manufactures, and constructs liquid and dry bolted storage tank systems for customers worldwide. The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales profitability, growth, and market penetration for Fire Protection Storage Tanks and related accessories by securing new business with OEMs and fire sprinkler contractors while supporting existing customers. The role also coordinates sales activities, manages territory opportunities, and maintains CRM and sales reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change
• Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; pricing strategies
• Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks
• Communicates through electronic platforms such as Zoom/Microsoft Teams, in-person visits, trade shows and presentations to existing and prospective customers
• Analiz’s the territory/market potential and determines the value of new and existing customers
• Research sources for developing prospective customers
• Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, project management, and engineering
• Inputs RFQs and updates status weekly in CRM (NetSuite)
• Other duties as assigned to support business needs

Requirements:

• proven •Fire Protection• industry experience
• Strong sales leadership qualities to include giving clear direction, thinking proactively, having a high sense of urgency, accountability and achieving goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels within an organization, in person and virtually
• Self-motivated, detail orientated and quality focused
• Strong presentation skills and demonstrated history of small and large group engagements
• Experience with trade shows
• Established relationships with bolted tank industry
• Problem solving with minimal oversight
• Ability to interpret technical information and industry trends
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing sales reports and proposals
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Assertive personality in a highly competitive industry
• Ability to perform business and technical math calculations accurately
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings required
• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP)
• Proficient skills in Microsoft products-emphasis on strong Excel skills
• Ability to prepare computerized reports
• Sales Planning, Building Relationships, Coaching, Managing Processes, Market Knowledge
• Innovative sales mentality and strategist
• CRM experience
• Proven success in business development, outside sales and customer relationship management required
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record required
• (engineering, business, marketing or construction management or equivalent experience preferred)
• 5+ years fire protection market with ancillary equipment experience preferred
• Real ID and passport for travel is a plus
