Software Development Engineer

Populate is building AI-powered electronic medical record and workflow management software to reduce clinician burnout and improve healthcare practice operations. The Software Development Engineer will take broad ownership of features, write performant and readable code, make architectural decisions, and contribute ideas that maximize customer value.

Responsibilities:

• As an early engineer, you will have a broad ownership and impact on the technology, the product, and our culture
• We’d love you to take ownership of features, write performant, readable code, and make architectural decisions
• You will bring ideas on projects, norms, and priorities to maximize the value we deliver to customers

Requirements:

• Expertise in OOP and/or Functional languages
• Fluent in Domain Driven Modeling
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience in building large software systems
• Strong commitment to software design and code quality
• A growth-oriented mindset
