Data Engineer / GIS Specialist – Ecological Data Visualization (5166)

Bennett Aerospace Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, is seeking a Data Engineer / GIS Specialist to develop data integration and visualization tools for Hydrogeomorphic assessment results. The role involves building databases, interactive dashboards, and spatiotemporal visualizations, while collaborating with scientists and engineers and producing technical documentation and reports.

Responsibilities:

• Build databases and integration workflows for HGM data outputs
• Design and develop dashboards, graphics, and visualizations to communicate spatiotemporal trends and ecological metrics
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to ensure visualizations reflect functional assessment outputs accurately
• Apply user-centered design principles to ensure tools are intuitive and decision-focused
• Produce technical documentation, figures, and reports for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Engineering, GIS, or related field
• 5–7 years of experience developing databases, dashboards, and data visualizations
• Proficiency with GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS), dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), or custom web visualization frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into accessible, decision-ready tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in multidisciplinary research teams
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government Clearance if required
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance
• Master's a plus
