Software Engineer

Gemini Health Partners is a clinically integrated revenue cycle management partner serving healthcare practices. The company is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain secure software solutions supporting healthcare revenue cycle processes, including back-end services, APIs, and integrations. The role also involves code reviews, troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support advanced revenue cycle processes for healthcare practices
• Collaborate with product managers, clinicians, and RCM specialists to translate business and clinical requirements into scalable, secure software systems
• Build and maintain back-end services, APIs, and integrations with internal and external platforms, focusing on performance, reliability, and data integrity
• Writing clean, maintainable code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of the engineering toolkit and development workflow
• Participate in documentation, adherence to coding standards, and cross-functional planning to ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals

Requirements:

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks
• Experience with Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and database-driven services
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design patterns
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases, performance tuning, and secure data handling
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment and communicate clearly in writing and speech
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Experience in healthcare, RCM, or financial systems is beneficial but not required
