Project Manager (Drug Development)

The client is an American biotechnology company developing cancer immunotherapy products, with a focus on genetically engineered autologous CAR T cell therapy. The Project Manager supports Global Program Managers by coordinating project operations, maintaining documentation and systems, tracking deliverables and risks, and facilitating execution activities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and communicate progress on project deliverables, key milestones, and potential risks
• Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including schedules, meeting summaries, and action item trackers
• Organize and facilitate team meetings, develop agendas, and ensure follow-up on assigned actions
• Manage SharePoint access for project teams
• Partner with functional leads to drive timely execution of tasks and deliverables
• Identify and escalate issues and risks to senior program managers
• Update and maintain functional plans utilizing Planisware
• Maintain accuracy and currency of project management systems and tools
• May support Development organization process improvement work streams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business or related discipline, and 3+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience
• Proven experience in project management or operational roles within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors
• Solid understanding of drug development processes and team collaboration dynamics
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence outcomes without direct authority
• Background in oncology or cell therapy is a plus, though not required
• Experience working with enterprise planning tools
• familiarity with Planisware is preferred
• Experience with SharePoint
