Customer Service Representative

Community Care Physicians is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for its Central Billing Office. The role handles patient account inquiries, billing and credit issues, account corrections, patient follow-up, and payment posting while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and research incoming phone calls from patients and answer questions, inquiries, and concerns regarding their accounts
• Assume responsibility for initial patient contact and follow-up
• Work with AR Specialist on patient billing and credit issues
• Ensure positive experience for patient on behalf of CCP
• Identify and correct patient account inaccuracies
• Post credit card payments to the patients account

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year work experience
• Prior experience in a call center environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance plans
• Excellent customer service skills
• Skill in using computer programs and applications
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and deal courteously with patients, employees, and the public
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Ability to maintain a professional poised attitude under pressure
