Cloud and Blockchain Security Engineer

Elbert Technology Pvt Ltd is seeking a Lead Cloud and Blockchain Security Architect to lead security hardening design across AWS, Azure, and blockchain platforms. The role will define CIS interpretations, establish security architecture and deviation standards, design blockchain security controls, review engineering implementations, and present decisions to risk and platform stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Define the target security architecture for in-scope AWS accounts, Azure subscriptions, and blockchain components
• Own the CIS control mapping matrix, including recommendation, design decision, implementation method, and evidence source
• Define the tailoring standard for deviations, including rationale, compensating control, risk acceptance owner, and approval path
• Design the blockchain platform security model, including:
• Node placement and segmentation
• RPC and administrative interface exposure
• Key custody and signing
• Certificate lifecycle
• Review and approve implementation work produced by the engineering team before it reaches JPMC change control
• Present design decisions and exceptions to JPMC Technology Risk and Controls and platform owners

Requirements:

• USC/GC or GC-EAD
• 10+ years of experience in information security, including 5+ years designing cloud security architecture in regulated financial services
• Deep working knowledge of: • CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark • CIS Microsoft Azure Foundations Benchmark • CIS OS Benchmarks • CIS Kubernetes Benchmark • CIS Docker Benchmark
• Hands-on architecture experience across AWS and Azure identity, logging, encryption, and network controls
• Practical blockchain infrastructure knowledge, including: • Node operations • Key management with HSM or cloud KMS • RPC exposure control • Smart contract deployment governance
• Demonstrated ability to defend design decisions to second-line risk functions and external auditors
